Architecture Linked - Architect & Architectural Social Network

Hey my dear friends! I'm working on a research paper on the architecture design studio spaces. Nowadays many studios are using free floor plan which is said to be flexible, multifunction..etc.

In your opinion do you think that an ideal studio should be in free floor plan as some people might feel that it is lack of privacy and do not feel comfortable to work there.

Throw me your opinions people!!!

Some suggestions would be most appreciated.

Thanks!!! :)

This article is really interesting.

The author describes three activities settings that make this space more interesting than a squared free floor plan:  "Integrated, flexible, and Variable"

thanks for the sharing carlos :) that is an interesting site
I've always thought that a great design studio should be very malleable so that the students can create their own environment. Try to have something with a modular feel to it. Something that can be modified according to different situations. I know that's terribly vague, but hope it helps.
hey tyson!!! yes thanks for your comment! i believe we all prefer to have a flexible space that can be modify according to our needs :)
