The collaboration between the Danish-Icelandic artist O. Eliasson and Chinese architect Ma Yansong:

Rather than considering their respective disciplines separately, Ma and Eliasson focused on the creative process as a whole, blurring the boundaries between art and architecture. In the dematerialized environment the two have created, viewers experience a heightened awareness. “Space has never existed,” says Ma, “but rather exists only in the specific feelings it induces.”

I think this is an interesting idea. I'm not a huge fan of sensory overload, but I like the concept of masking space to alter the experience. I think there are lots of spatial configurations that can be generated from this type of exploration.
Hy tyson, I think spatial configuration is a effect of relations between body moviment and time, is a result of human action in time. See this video below, it's another way to show the same idea! and it is a fun animation too.
