Design buildings to allow maximum daylight, or coloring roofs in lighter shades are some of the best strategies to build an Eco-friendly building.

Permalink Reply by Springer on June 6, 2012 at 11:34am I agree. And just generally, I think passive eco-friendly design is the best place to start. Design it intelligently to begin with, then you can add fancy technologies to supplement, as needed.
Permalink Reply by Tyson on June 11, 2012 at 9:24pm I would say it's not just what the building does in terms of energy efficiency, but the manufacturing processes that are used. You can have a building that is very energy efficient, but if the building process doesn't use resources efficiently, then you haven't gained much.
