I think it's disrespectful. It is difficult to understand.
Very complex issue of culture and respect. How can we break the band of another era, and why? I is hard to imagine, create one if such on the Parthenon, the Sabor of St. Peter in Rome, the Hermitage, the Kremlin or the Louvre. From an artistic point of view and cultural aesthetics. this is terrible.

Aesthetically, I do find it quite garish, and I dislike it. From a business standpoint, it's wonderfully self-promoting, as everyone will see it and want to know what it's about and experience it. Not being personally familiar with the culture of Brussels, I can't address that. At least it is only for three months.
