What kind of music do Architects most like?

I don´t know about all Architects, but personally, I enjoy listening to classical music, jazz and rock.

The Principal Architects in our firm prefer jazz & classical. The younger Associates seem to listen to rock. I prefer latin jazz (Lee Ritenour), classical or the Hotel Costes series when I'm working. Muse, Blue October & The Killers when @ home or towards the end of my working day. Have a great weekend everyone!

wow... finally a place where people actually think that music and architecture go hand by hand. Well, in my case, when I'm in "design mode" I love minimal music, electronic, or any kind of music that contain sounds which help me explore different angles of what I'm trying to create.

i usually listen oldie art rock song like pink floyd, yes, genesis, ELP, etc... but sometimes the beatles :P
for modern music. i'm listening Tool, Nine Inch Nails, Porcupine Tree, Sonic Youth, Soundgarden, n etc. several from my country.
i like jazz also but not too often, depend on the mood
but no hip hop please..
classical music?? of course... who doesn't like it?

Surprisingly Selma, I adore Heavy Metal Music, and that applies for me when designing a project..
I usually listen to some good Symphonic Metal when developing a concept, or thinking in my design, it helps me to think out of the box, to think of the non traditional and to find creative solutions for my design...

Soofy, soft and instrumental music.... depends on time...like in the morning some fast music... as day ends more soft , classical and instrumental...music...
