Alternatively, you may also have taken a course focused in sustainable design in order to be eligible to test for the Green Associate.

I do believe there is no way around the eligibility requirements for the specialization accreditation tests.

Hi Vielka,

Glad to see you're going for the BC+D. The new LEED v.3 rules say you have to document your participation in a LEED project to be eligible for the specialty exam. The Green Associate exam requires that you be employed in a related field. They verify this through letters from your employer. I've probably been no help at all, but good luck!

Hi!.........I'm already a LEED AP but I'm considering getting specialized in Building Constructon and Design. Has anybody obtained this without actually participating in a LEED project before?....Well, hope someone can help me with this...........
