Don't you think that people by promoting generative software give a false impression about parametric software? Since generative can not be without parametric and parametric is still not completely implemented in practice. Isn't it dangerous not to make a radical distinction between both, and analyse it separately?

A while ago i started to script in maya (autodesk) to generate facades which where impossible to draw with common tools - amorph surfaces - changing geometrie - it would last forever if you want to draw it "by hand".

Than I started to generate new forms - for example with a voronoi algorithm - and i got new shapes... in my blog (blog16zu9.wordpress) i show some examples.

Are YOU using your computer to generate new forms too? What software do you use? It is only for studies or for real, built projects?
