Thanks for the reply Violeta. I've been working in Salt Lake City since I graduated several years ago. I work mostly on educational projects, but also enjoy theorizing and dialogue, which is why I blog on this site. I think your museum study has a lot of potential. I've been to quite a few museums that fit your description, and they do have a tremendous impact on their host cities. I think it may have something to do with the freedom and resources afforded to the architects of these projects. In many cases, the exhibit in the museums are secondary to the museums themselves, and so the architecture becomes the focal point. It's an interesting conversation to have, I would be interested to hear what you've discovered thus far.
It's unfortunate that the economy has suffered so much for us all, but I'm optimistic that we'll find new ways to prosper in changing economic times. I would also be interested to hear how Bulgaria has been affected since I have only seen the effects here in the US. Take care.
Violeta, thanks for the add. Glad to meet you here. I took a look at your website and really like your projects, you have a great deal of skill. Looks like you just graduated this year, how has the job hunt been going? Would love to hear how things are going in that part of the world. Cheers.
