AA House by Office of Architecture in Barcelona (OAB) has a roof system of diagonals that gives the impression of an artificial topography. An abundant use of glasswork, trellises, and sliding panels allows a visual connection to the garden for the halls, library, dining rooms, kitchen, main bedroom, and guest suites. Ceramic tiles are used as cladding on the rooftops and the perimeter walls, and the ample glasswork is covered in glazing to maintain privacy at specific points. The home’s lower level includes a cellar directly related to the dining room, a video library relating to the library, an inside swimming pool, a Turkish bath, an extension of the main bedroom, and a service flat leading directly to the kitchen areas.
