That's how architect
Jaques Herzog describes Miami Beach - and the new
sculptural parking facility at 1111 Lincoln Road
designed by his Swiss firm,
Herzog & de Meuron, in collaboration with Miami-base
architects Charles Benson Associates. Situated at the gateway of Lincoln Road's pedestrian
promenade, the parking facility is filled with light and offers successively striking views as one ascends its concrete levels. With over 40,000 square feet of retail space, the structure aims to create a unique dining, shopping, and residential parking experience for residents and tourists. The street level is dedicated to concept stores and restaurants, plus a 5th-floor retail store and a roof-top restaurant with views of the city and the ocean.
