The CPH Arch will be a majestic landmark that serves as both an inter-city bridge and as a city gate.  The Arch will be the only “dry” connection between the city of Marmormolen in the west and the city of Langeliniekaj in the east, and is designed to be easily utilized by both cyclists and pedestrians.  Its unique form was designed by 3XN Arkitekter using three simple shapes: a low and broad structure, a tall and slender building, and a classic bridge arc.  The tall building is a natural extension of the existing developments in Langeliniekaj, while the broad structure points to the coming development in Marmormolen.  The new access and opportunities provided by the bridge will infuse the area with new life and growth.
