This project by Santiago Calatrava is a redevelopment of the Denver International Airport's south terminal. The architecture includes a hotel, train station and bridge to extend the train services from downtown Denver. The project is estimated to cost $650 million dollars. Calatrava approached this project as he has in many of his beautiful bridges. He views the airport as the modern bridge into the city, thus the bridge leading to the airport is meant to reinforce this relationship. The form of the project itself is in the form of a bird's wings. There is also a full animation of the proposed design at the bottom. Enjoy.
