Limits in design can sometimes be viewed as, well, limiting. I have, however, found them to be liberating. Without limits or constraints, it would be next to impossible to design something. This sport facility by Salto AB is a great example of looking at site constraints in terms of architectural opportunity. In fact, without the existing topography, the design would be rather ordinary and plain. Instead, the terrain was used to accomplish a specific effect that gives the architecture an extraordinary quality. So don't focus so much on what you can't do and you might find more opportunities to be remarkable.
