Instead of planning the house around interior functionality, the Four Eyes House is designed to enhance its residents’ experience of the surrounding landscape. Located in Coachella Valley, California, Four Eyes House was created by Los Angeles-based Edward Ogosta Architecture. Its unique architecture is defined by four “sleeping towers,” each topped with a compact bedroom and a window framing a specific view: the sunrise to the east, the mountain range to the south, the city lights to the west, and the night stars directly overhead. The bedrooms are unassigned, and sleeping arrangements can rotated based on the desired view.
