First shown to the public in September of 2008, this skyscraper concept by Belgium-based firm Kinetura is – rather appropriately – named Kinetower.  The slatted, flexible, diamond-shaped windows of the building’s façade react to the surrounding environment by recoiling upward to allow more light to enter the building’s interior.  It appears that their opening and closing can also be controlled on an individual basis.

You can watch Kinetura’s brief animation of the tower here.
