This is an interesting project by John Wardle Architects. The building interacts with the street unlike many of the institutions of learning that you will likely see in your city. It relates to the street not only in proximity, but also in visibility. As a former student of architecture, there always seemed to be a disconnect from school life and the life that awaits us upon graduation. The visibility from the interior study space to the "real world" is a useful reminder to those who are there that these two worlds should not exist in isolation, but rather in cooperation with each other.
