The Porsche Pavilion is a reduced yet dynamic structure in the Autostadt in Wolfsburg.  The work of HENN architectural consultancy, its curving lines and exciting bends are derived for the Porsche image.  A large asymmetrical roof shelters an external space that seats several hundred visitors and forms its own acoustic enclosure.  Inside the pavilion, an elliptically curved ramp leads visitors down to the presentation area, where the evolution, engineering, and fascination of Porsche is combined into one memorable image.  The external cladding is a stainless steel that changes appearance depending on light and weather conditions, yet envelopes the entire structure, giving an impression of unity.
