Make Architects have created the
Digital Campus Phase III design at the southern edge of the recently completed Sheaf Square located in the Peak District in Sheffield, UK. It will be an urban mixed-use development based on triangular geometry and clad in ribbons of stainless steel and Sheffield stone reminiscent of rock strata. The building is elevated on large structural legs and creates a dramatic public space. The site includes 220,00 square feet of office space and an elliptical 16-storey residential tower that will contain approximately 200 apartments. The roof levels include an extensive landscaped terrace and an atrium roofed with ETFE which draws light down to the ground level.
