Capital Gate Tower in Abu Dhabi has been named the "World’s Furthest Leaning Manmade Tower" by Guinness World Records. Owned and developed by ADNEC (Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company), the 35-storey tower has been built to lean 18 degrees westward. When completed at the end of this year, floors 2-16 will house 20,000 square meters of exclusive office space, floors 18 upward will contain the five-star "Hyatt Capital Gate" hotel, and floors 1 and 17 will comprise plant rooms. The 19th floor will hold an outdoor swimming pool, and from there up a tapered internal atrium will rise through the structure. Also, over 80 meters above ground there will be a cantilevered tea lounge overhanging the outside of the tower.
