I usually try to stray from commenting on architecture this formalistic, but I was fascinated with it on this basis. They got the story backward!  The idea of the Trojan Horse was that it was something expected on the outside, while a surprise was stowed on the inside. This project by Jackson Clements Burrows is quite the opposite. The outside is something very unusual, especially when you can see the hints of it's surrounding suburbia in the above picture, but on the inside it's quite the "normal" abode. I have to say I like the paradox, and maybe the inside-out reference I made above isn't really the point, the point, perhaps, is to use something ordinary to create an unexpected surprise. Enjoy.

The point is ... thinking about the weight and the gravity, if you think that you are simply a man on the earth.

What's that, maybe a sculpture, a crazy game of the mind, but (again) is no-architetcture.
