Wondering How Facebook's New Office Looks like?

Project Name: Facebook New Office
Location:Palo Alto, CA
Architects: Studio o+a

Facebook’s new, 150,000-square-foot cool office at Palo Alto, CA designed by studio o+a . In order to design best working environment for the employee studio o+a interviewed with them all. They ended up building different spaces for different departments cosidering their needs.

The company has remained committed to providing free gourmet meals, snacks, and drinks in micro-kitchens located throughout the building. In order to keep the company agile and fresh, employees are encouraged to write on walls, add artwork, and move furniture as they see fit.

"If I worked there, I’d move my furniture into Mark Zuckerberg’s offices and then challenge him to a game of ping-pong or basketball on the company tables and court." says Stephen Searer from Office Snapshots.

“Just as people make the space on the website their own, we’ve opted to do the same with our physical space. We’ve left a lot of the walls white and the spaces unfinished to encourage employees to add the finishing touches.” Wrote Facebook designer Everett Katigbak, to his blog.
