Write to your congressman, senators or legislators to have a separate and special Law for our profession. In this way put a STOP for Civil Engineers to practice two (2) state regulated professions. This would put the Architects in equal footings with the engineers other allied professionals. To level the playing fields and fair competition.
You could open this discussion in your affiliated professional organization. Why not try. . .
If civil engineers are allowed by law to prepare, sign and dry-seal architectural documents, that would be OVERLAPPING OF FUNCTION and DIRECT COMPETITOR?
Since by education they are NOT TRAINED and DOES NOT HAVE architectural planning and design, town and urban planning, interior design subjects in their curriculum. They are allowed in your country to practice two (2) profession if that would be the case. And that would be DIS-ADVANTEGOUS to our Profession.
obviously i will be keep in touch and will share my ideas regarding architectural issues on various topics and i hope same response will be from you in future
